Mare and Foal Care Services

Let our years of breeding experience benefit your mare and foal. We can take your mare from conception through weaning. Once weaned, your foal can enjoy the company of peers in our foal band.

Mare and Foal
Broodmares and foals enjoy a pasture complete with creep feeding and protected shade. Foaling service, early handling and training, and a gentle weaning program are available.
After Weaning
Young horses need room to run to develop strong bones and muscles. At Gateway, weanlings, yearlings and 2-year-olds run in their own pastures, supplemented yearlong with hay and grain, balanced according to their nutritional needs.
